This is very concerning. Even more so that some dumb asses have tried to pass it off as "unclassified" data. Really?

The WP article on the frontpage here was at least somewhat more truthful. |

I saw that and wondered what the heck is going on ... very sensitive information indeed. Can the US military keep any secrets?
Plus we borrow money from them and the interest is used to hack us with. This would cause a war with most countries, but not ours ... instead Trump wants to keep doing business with China (a cell phone mfg no less) by just giving them a fine of a billion dollars for breaking US laws. I've come to the conclusion that all we can do is be upset or let it go. It is so hard to let this kind of espionage go. ![]()

Unfortunately, our government has been a little slow in understanding the importance of protecting our unclassified data systems.
Also been a little slow in educating people that unclassified information can still be sensitive and needs to be protected.

"According to CBS News, over 100,000 Chinese nationals have spent about $24 billion to obtain residence permits in the past decade. They prefer to migrate to developed countries, the most popular of which is the US. About 40,000 Chinese nationals have participated in the US residence-for-investment programme, putting over $7.7 billion into the country's economy." https://tranio.com/articles/greeces-...-capital_5460/ I think that this thing might be a part of the bigger plan of the chinese government - the plan that includes this stolen Naval data (but maybe i'm a paranoid ![]() |
