Occasionally something will go wrong and the torpedo misfires, resulting in a red tube. I've tried fixing most parts of the bow only for it to stay red...
is there ANY way around repairing this?

I got those from firing at a speed of 15kts or higher. Only way to repair them is to head back to port and click the repair while rearming.

While in port, go to repairs and double click the torpedo tubes text, that should be in black font if they're damaged.

yes, seems to be caused if you try to fire a torpedo when moving at high speed. If you head back to port, you get a message of the time required to fix the tube. I had that recently in a campaign and the time in port required was around 40 hours.

This still should not be an issue.
You should be able to shoot a US torpedo at max speed. |
