Such a philosophical question...
Haven’t died yet in my career. But in SH3commander, you can continue with your boat or at least continue in the same year and time you died. When your captain dies, do you have to start over from Memel? I feel “silentotto” is a cheat. Any info on this? |

I don't know exactly, it's because I save every game session in a different slot and I add the '_bunker' extension when I'm there. This means that in case of death I'm very flexible
![]() Generally, if you die you get a final screen with text about the war progress and I guess you must restart the chapter, but this is just a guess, I don't remember what happens exactly. |

When I save the game I give it a name like 'camp_26' or similar, but when I'm in the bunker I give the name 'camp_26_bunker'. If something goes terribly wrong or my saves get corrupted for a reason then I know where I can restart from, just a safety measure.
