Does anyone know if a master list of the codes, and their explanations, exists anywhere? For instance, a list that explains what "caustics" is, and does, or "FollowParent", etc.

![]() Most of the game related properties/parameters that you can edit in binary files have a caption in Silent3ditor. Should you need for better explainations, you can do a search on the forum or on google (there used to be a great SHIV modding forum external to subsim, but unfortunately it seems to be offline now, and all of its information unfortiunately lost), or you can ask directly here. Incidentally, "caustics" are a light effect visible on the sea bottom and on vertical surface below and above the water leve when sunrays get reflected/refracted by the sea surface. More on that: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caustic_(optics) As for "FollowParent", some context would be needed for a more detailed answer, but in general this is a flag that can be set to either true or false for objects and particles, indicating whether the movement of that objects/particle is set in the global space, or in the space of its parent object. |

Everything!
![]() Actually, seriously. Everything. Although quite a lot is intuitive (FollowParent is one) quite a lot isn't. Considering the massive amount of commands, I really don't expect there to be a master list, but one can always hope! ![]() |
