Janes Longbow and Fighters Anthology working well on Windows 10

Holy Smokes, I though today i would just take a moment to see if i could have Longbow 2 and Fighters Anthology installed on my windows 10 64bit laptop. I had tried back when i had windows 7 and Longbow 2 took ages to try and get working and even then it had graphical issues, and same for Fighters Anthology as well as game speed issues

I did an install of these today (i put the setup.exe compatibility to winxp sp2 ) and lo and behold both the games work with no issues at all, - i do incidentally have nglide installed also and so its 3dfx emulation is perfect for Longbow 2.

I am just so amazed that both these are working with little more than the standard install

windows 10 is finally doing things that i like!

I know what you mean, I installed an old program that stopped working with Win 7; on Windows 10 it came back to life.

Longbow 2? That brings back some good game memories.

tehcncially and graphically, DCS today may be more perfect, but it never was as alive for me as Longbow 2, or Falcon.

I still have a LB2 box with all content stored somewhere.
