Where do old pictures go when they die/Flying dutchman
I have been searching dozens of ghost ship threads for images of the Flying dutchman, and they all seem to have 'died' and sources that no longer exist? Then I realised something, took me a while - google!"!!!
Here she is, being attacked by a jap patrol, not a single shot hits the FD.

Several of the picture hosting sites over the years have shut-down, with PhotoBucket being the latest, hence the blank spaces for some, and the PhotoBucket message for others. It gets to be a big-time bummer on some of the tutorial threads, where folks talk about modding and use pictures as examples, and when the links goes bad, that article is like missing a thousand words for each picture used...
You can make your own pictures just by hanging around the Luzon Straits for an extended period of time, sometimes decades... but he will eventually show... unless you're razark, who is apparently unable to see the green patina (turquise??) of the Dutchman's ship... - we do have fun with that though... I'll include my video here: Last edited by propbeanie; 01-15-18 at 03:17 PM. Reason: vid link |

Here's a picture of the fLying Dutchman that I got:
As you can see, I was lucky enough to catch it while it was romping happily through the meadow with some unicorns, a couple of dragons, and Santa Clause.

That photo bears a striking resemblance to De Vliegende Hollander... with his pet unicorns, of course... As for Santa, that's a figment of your imagination, good sir!

If you know the username a poster used for their PhotoBucket account pictures, the pictures are still on Photobucket in their account.
..... That is if they didn't get p.o.'d and delete all their pictures and delete their Photobucket account like I did. D'oh! There were some beautiful wispy screenshots of the Dutchman posted by users with high-end graphics cards.
