Hey folks. I am wondering if there is anything in game or a mod that has an in game reference as to sunrise and sunset times in game to aid in timing dawn and dusk attacks. I have looked around and haven't found anything but it's entirely possible for me to overlook things. Does anyone know if there anything like this out there somewhere? Thanks.

Hi PS
Dawn and dusk should change time depending how far north or south you are. Peter

I note the time of dawn and dusk each day, along with my position, in my KTB. I do this for immersion, but it also helps with planning attacks.
If you notice on the navmap, the border changes colour twice daily - dawn and dusk. These are the times I note. Of course, the environment doesn't change from daylight to darkness or vice versa here - it's just a moment the game chooses to display dawn and dusk. You'll find light starts to fail about 1.5/2 hours before this moment, and will have became dark about 1.5/2 hours after that moment. Similarly in the morning transition from darkness to daylight. If you note the time of those moments on the navmap each day it's very easy to predict lighting changes, regardless of where you are on the globe.

Times shown are always that at your home base. If you hover the cursor over the time it will give local time.
This is a feature of SH3 only. In later versions it was changed - for the worse, of course.
