I'm not sure which one exactly, but I stumbled across one of the new Merchies in the campaign. It's tonals appeared to completely fill the waterfall display, as if someone had mounted a white noise generator under the ship. My first thought was that I must have been going too fast, but I was at 5 kts and the Russian ASW group I was sneaking up on appeared to have normal tonals.

It's a bug where the sound profile of the vessel in question is not provided in the ingame files. I had the same issue on encountering Akulas in a very early version of the Playable Subs mod.
