Killed By Friendly Fire

Hey everyone. So today I was about to pull into port after a big mission when I was suddenly attacked by a friendly "Minesweeper". No thanks to that ship I sank before pulling into port and completing the mission. Is this a bug in the game or could it be the GWX mod that I have running? Anything is appreciated.

What year are you playing in? What month? If it's August 1939 you can't sink anything because the war starts in September. If you sink a Neutral ship that country will become your enemy for 24 hours, so never sink a ship that is green on the chart.

Ah, yes I am playing in August 1939. That would explain it, no one declared war yet! Thanks for the info and quick reply.
