how to edit the amount of ammo?

would anyone know how to edit files to give ones self tons of ammo capacity?

I do not know how to do it manually, but in the Downloads, under gameplay there is a mod for you. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=4458

Its called "Extra Ammo mod".
Will not work on modded ships though.
