Silent Hunter 5 Enjoyable Yet?

Is it modded enough at this point to be an enjoyable game at least equal to SH3, or is it still in need of more work?

I can't play SH3 anymore on my Windows 10 system, it's too unstable and it crashes.

Oh yeah, the Wolves of Steel mod for Silent Hunter 5 makes the game very enjoyable indeed! It will almost certainly never reach the glorious heights of Silent Hunter 3, but the improved graphics help a lot to compensate, all in my personal humble opinion of course.

I currently play SH3 with the LSH3-2015 mega mod which is the most up to date type of play you can have with this dated game which also includes good graphics.
There are those who swear by GWX and SH3Commander and other attributes as being the holy grail of subsims.

SH5 is more than just good graphics, those of us who have played The Wolves Of Steel(TWOS) with real navigation at 100% difficulty will know what real game immersion is.

SH3 has a new version of CCoM based on GWX due later this December.
The LSH3 team are behind as was expected in 2016 and then spring 2017 still no available date.
SH5 is currently modded by vdr1981 (Vecko) and while he is around to look after the SH5 there may come a time when SH3 players may grudgingly admit it is about time SH5 with TWOS deserves more respect from the gaming community.

True words. SH5 2017 with TWoS mod is a great game and when you love subsim games its a must have game. Sure playing then with Real Navigation and 100% Realism for getting the ideal gameplay.
