CTD - it's not just a job

sort of makes me think of
Innovative songwriter and musician that I will be miss. Some of the stories behind the writing of some of their songs, where they used words and lines for their sound, not so much for "storytelling" just blew my mind. Then I find out that a lot of "bands" did that... I should have come up with that idea when I was trying my hand at songwriting oh so many years ago. I always thought you had to tell a story, like Don McLean did here, but as you can see, that might take eight minutes, or in my case, probably a month of Sundays. It's a sure sign that I'm getting old, losing so many of my favorite musical bands people...
