Option File Editor - Hotkey Ship's Journal

Hello !
I have a little problem. I am unable to change the Key value for the "Hotkey for toggling ship's journal visibility" ...

The default value is "Q" and I want to change it to "A" because I am using an AZERTY keyboard and there is conflict with the strafe left when I play.

Steam Conversion Installation Instructions for SH5 Updated Version

If you are running your own mod list you need to disable TDW'sNewUI main base mod first.
Make your OFEV changes and then save.
Enable your mods again and you should be ok.

Hello, thanks for the reply. I just did a fresh install nothing else. It is not a Steam copy of the game.

I have no other mods. I will try to edit manually the config file, a .py file. Using the application I found the value but couldn't change it

Hi Rosco
I do not recommend making any changes to the Ship's Journal through the py file.
The reason being that the Ships Journal patches impact on other files that also need to be changed.
Making other patch changes through the py file is not a problem.
