He could be returning in Smiley’s People, well suited for the film version. I here the BBC is to make a TV series of The Spy Who Came In From The Cold next year.

Watching at the moment the BBC's five part drama SS-GB based on Len Deighton's book which so far has been good but a little plodding. So with luck the BBC should do a good job with The Spy Who Came In From The Cold.
