Default How to dock

I've completed all of my primary objectives(no secondaries were given) and returned to base. I've read on the web that once getting back to base(I'm sitting in my pen right now), that you hit escape and an option is given to dock. I see no such thing, but there is the option to exit patrol. Was the docking option taken away at some point?

Hit Exit Patrol and if you are within some 10-20 km from base, which would be the case here then you will be given the option to dock.

If you are not within distance, you will attempt to return to port but beware, if you are out at the high seas and exits the patrol, then there is a chance for you being captured and sent off to Canada for the rest of the war.

As long as you are given the option to dock after hitting Exit Patrol, you'll be fine.

As for objectives, as far as I can remember, there really is none. In stock game the only objective is to patrol a given grid. Do that then trundle off to wherever you fancy to blow things up if you still have torpedos.

Really like going to the trouble of docking now. I would however, recommend not having realism at 100 percent. This can sometimes dumb your tonnage score. ....I think....

Was walking down the street the other day. Had that damn tune in my head that the band plays at the dock.
