Cant get SH4 to load

Just DL'd SH4 from Amazon and cant wait to play, but still can't get it to load fully. I'm running a pretty fast PC with Win10, have run setup several times, tried loading it as admin and have run compatibility test/fix several times. Still no joy...

Realize my descrip of issue is brief, but any insights would be most welcomed.

Did you install the DirectX 9 that came in the game? Also, for later modding, you're better off not installing the game in Program Files (x86). Make your own directory - er, folder off the root, like "C:\Games\...

Welcome to SubSim Morgo!!

With a Windows 10 OS I'd take a look at this thread........"Windows10; Large Address Aware; SH4 Install". Follow the instructions on where to put your game, and what to do with it after its installed.

If you do as instructed, you'll not need to run the game as an Administrator, or in a specific manner. Forget that, just run it like any other program.
