Evening mates! Can someone pls point out areas to look for merchants in early 1942? I've been around the Solomon Islands, S. China Sea, and Philippines.
The convoy map I found shows the heavy traffic after 1943. Thanks! |

Makassar Strait is one of my favorite spots. Not a lot of convoys, but a decent number of single Marus passing through the chokepoint.

1942 can be tough. Best to find productive points and work them to death. 1942 is not particularly exciting for a Pearl Harbor boat. Better to be in the Asiatic fleet then. For a new player it's breathing space to learn good boat handling. For a vet, it can get a bit tedious.
