Default Can't advance campaign

OK, running Wolves of Steel.

I have the Mama Fix 1 (osi.exe priority set to real time) and the Mama fix 2 (Background processes given priority).

I am at February 28th, 1941. Date switches to March 1st. Shortly thereafter, I am told I am given command of a new uboat, do I accept? I say yes.

Campaign ends. I see my awards, a splash screen, then I get to pick a new campaign. I pick Western Approaches.

New game starts and....SH5 crashes to desktop.

So I load my last save prior to March 1st 1941, and now I can never get it to end the campaign when the date changes.

What do I need to do?

Western Approaches finished on the 1st February 1941 and you are at the 28th of February.
You should be on the last campaign in Happy Times > Strategic Supplies 1st November 1940 to 1st March 1941

The new U-Boat is a VIIC for the Mare Nostrum campaigns in La Spezia 15th March 1941 to 31st May 1941.
There are 2 opening campaigns with same dates.
Breakthrough Gibraltar 1st March 1941 to 1st September 1941
Deliveries to Malta 1st March 1941 to 1st September 1941

I think you may need to use this fix by Vecko which has specific instructions how to move from Happy Times to Mare Nostrum and change boats from VIIB to VIIC.

You misunderstand.

I was in Happy Times, which ends March 1, 1941.

I was at sea when this happened.

The first time, I had done both Mama Fix 1 and 2, and it worked - shortly after March 1, 1941 the game ended, I was given a new sub, and shown my awards, and picked the next campaign, which was Western Approaches.

But when the game launched it did a CTD.

Subsequent game loads back to February 28, 1941 did not trigger the campaign end again after March 1, 1941.

So I followed the thread here:

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...64&postcount=1

To manually advance the campaign.

Same problem. Have you solved this problem yet?
