Default S3Editor Assistance

Hi Fellow Kaleuns,

I'm just looking for some..assistance with editing files in S3idtor. Namely for now the different Guns. I know yes it's cheap and cheasy but thats kind of how I roll lol. Anyway I figured out *where* and *what* Gun on my Sub I want to modify, and to an extent *some* of the features i.e Traverse & Shell Speed so that is good..HOWEVER. Let's say..just saying...I want my 10.5 Gun to oh, I don't know...have the same effect or Firepower as the Bismarcks Main Gun

There seems to be a section for "effect" and theres like a hexidecimal clode like 0x7....etc. Would I Theoretically just copy/paste the effect "codeline" I guess I will call it *from* the 15' *Into* the 10.5? Thanks for any help

Right, yeah. I do have that program. but im a little sketchy on how it works. I mean I was able to give my Deck Gun a 10-round 'clip' (im evil ok) but it appears i also edited the Ammo but it doesn't have any effect. And speaking of effect I want to change the power/damage of my deck gun. Was looking for maybe a step by step (if possible with screenshots) Thanks though

Well,in data/cfg/Basic/
Where it is possible to make the base settings such as more ammo to deck gun, or more ammo to flak gun and so on I.e, I'll try to get the image of this but probably later in the day when it comes to changes concerning the effect so is this data/Library/senors BE AWARE this can do changes in many ways in senor you can change sonar like, bold types and many other thing its huge data bas.I myself have 5 different boats, one of which is much mods in(and I have change the to very high effort) the same but also to realistic conditions such as gun platforms with higher fire rate as you have in, SH3 "stock" As you now understand, you have to be sure of what you do to make it work in the end, otherwise the game don't start, in time but I assist you happy "before you do something that you don't are sure about".

For example, you can find in the library, shells data file, you can change the conditions if you want to switch 20mm to 37mm to your anti-aircraft guns, but ya need the right code for this.I have several years ago replaced the 20mm to 37mm on my flakguns guns, I would add that I know some people here that are made for this and I'll make sure to help ya with this in a simpler way and I, then I do not produce Mods, I making modifications within the scope of what is possible.
