How to restore the sunk ship icon

Like it says in the title, how do I do this? The little red one showing a sinking.

Realism settings. God mode shows all icons. I believe that is the name for it.

But I play no map updates 95% difficulty etc. Anyone?

You answer your own question. You play without sunk ship icons...
