Man, Space Invaders was the first arcade video game that really took my world by storm. In 1979 I hada gf who managed a 7/11, I would visit her at night. I kept hearing these weird bleeps and bloops coming from the corner, and asked her, "what are those noises?" She replied, "Oh, that's some kind of pinball game or something." Yep, after that, I was a video gamer for life.
