Default Faster Loading?

First off, I'm a great fan of this game. Given that, I'm puzzled at times at how long this game can take to load a game and get to the action. Is there a way to skip loading some of the initial screens/movies and get right to the load saved game screen?

yes, its very easy.

open your game folder ubisoft/silent hunter 4/ data/movies/intro then delete the two movie files found there and you skip the ubisoft intro and the little sh4 intro movie.

takes about a minute off the initial startup loading times

First thing you can do, if you haven't already done so is delete the Intro and Logo files in SH4/Data/Movies. That will shorten the loadup time some. Also, since I've just done this myself, if you have an SSD on you're computer copy and load the SH4 folder to the SSD. It will increase the loading time quite a bit.

I've also found, some time ago, if you left-click when those start, program exits those, and starts loading right away.
