correct English pronouncing
Was told by my Sister today that my Niece got scolded and reprimanded by her English teacher. The reason was that my niece claimed that the English word "calm" should be pronounced ... (do not know how to write the word "calm" in the way it should be pronounced) She was told that the word "calm" should be pronounced as "Claim" or as my sister said
Teachers claim that in "real" English the word "calm" is pronounced as "claim". Markus |
