Some questions

Hi guys im coming over from sh5 where real navigation is a must, any mod similiar to this for sh4? Another question the standard edition of sh4(without u-boat missions) is on sale on steam, will i be able to instal RFB 2.0 or do i need the uboat missions for this to wrk?

You need U-boat Missions to do just about anything worthwhile where mods go. Real navigation has been tried in SH4 but if you lose the navigation charts you also lose all the tactical plotting--not a great trade. If you want decent gameplay it's best to accept the game as is and not make radical changes.

Thanks but does real fleet boat only works with u boat missions?

Installation:
RFB 2.0 is a JSGME-ready mod and should be installed before campaign mods such as RSRDC and OM.
RFB 2.0 is for version SH4 v.1.5 only. Do not expect the mod to work with earlier versions of the game.
The patch file is to be enabled after the main RFB installation file and before any other mods.
You will find two additional files inside the main RFB 2.0 directory - one for alternate nomographs and one for German audio files. These files are to be enabled when playing on the German side.

The Silent Hunter 4 Gold Edition when installed updates to v1.5
Other versions when installed would normally be v1.4 and need the U-Boat Missions Add-on to update the game to v1.5
V1.5 is essential to get the best out of SH4 and remove a lot of the bugs.
V1.4 can be played but the mods available are limited.
