I have recently had problems when I speed up time, it can randomly lag when I go to about *500 and won't go past *1054 as it lags too much!
It is becoming quite common and annoying as so far the only way to get rid of it is to delete the saved progress and, with it, 2 war years of hard work. ![]() Is there a solution for this? Thanks |

Yes and no to your question.
There are two problems here. One could be your system. Amount of RAM, quality of video card, or even your processor. Others on here are more qualified than me about the video card. You need a large amount of RAM to run the game. If you do have a lot of RAM, and haven't yet done so, download Large Address Aware http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=3634 It will allow the game to recognize larger amounts of RAM. Another problem could be your saves. The save bug is a well known bug. Don't overwrite saves, always save in a new file. For instance, while in the office, before going out on patrol, I'll save as "Fireftr," then, as I save during patrol, I save as "Fireftr1, Fireftr2," etc. There are some rules from the old days when normal computers were barely able to run the game. Save during day, calm weather, out of sensor range of anything, and on surface. I made saves submerged, getting pinged without problem. Try my solutions first for they are the easiest. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling and re-installing the game in it's own directory. Good luck.
