SHO Shore leave activity

Grüße Lands Skipper,
just wish to say thanks to all involved with this great forum+..... Has really helped with the immersion into submarine gaming. Im a big believer in 'if you spend the time gaming you may well as be fully immersed in the game and subject of matter.' I have been and avid computer user since the early 90's, mainly IBM pc's are my interest. Through those years it was such titles as "The Hunt For Red October" and "688 Attack sub" that introduced me to submarine gaming but it was "Silent Hunter 3" which brings me here. Since first googling this site it has stayed pretty much open in my browser for about 3 weeks now which Ive perused through in my breaks from patrol in SH3. Ive read through some posts on Skippers current updates of their patrols and found them quite amusing and may have to post one myself provided this is still a currently practiced thing.

Would like to know roughly what the most popular Marine titles are currently being played by members, its probably somewhere here on the site but I havent landed my eyes on it yet captain.

I have a massive interest in all things nautical, in the past worked on a tallship and spent plenty of time on boats for leisure. Currently the proud owner of a small vessel I like to get on the water as often as the weather permits, mainly for fishing purposes these days. The waters off the coast of Adelaide South Australia have been generous to me in the past. Havent landed any submarines to date, lol not that the old Collins Class submarines arent an option..... they were previously built in the Port river where my brother and I frequent in our fishing trips so its not unusual to see one surface cruising the local waters.... . . . .

look forward to more interesting developements here on SUBSIM RADIOROOM and will get round to eventually posting a report on current campaign.

für jetzt auf Wiedersehen
