I get messages like "convoy at AN 29" which i understand, but then i sometimes get "convoy at AN 2931"...what do those 4 numbers mean?

While discussing this, I have often received messages stating that something has occurred at BH3650.
How can there be a zero in the coordinate system? |

Game map is not too realistic. Game grid have sides ~200x100 km - too big for navigation and operation. So historically all these grids (AN13, AM28 and etc.) was divided on parts. Third and fourth number on "AN2931" are indicate more accurate position.
But radiomessages about convoy with four number on grid name is fake. There no convoy on grid AN29. It is just attempt to give the sense - there are more others commanders on patrol. |
