Default The Car in Which You Learned to Drive

Can you please post a pic or pics showing as near as you can the type of vehicle in which you learned to drive (so that may not necessarily be your own first car). Try to get it as exact as possible, including colour, so no modifications unless they were present on the vehicle you yourself drove.

Here's mine: a 1968-74 Ford Escort Mk1, yellow...

I can't remember the actual car I was doing my driving lessons in before I had to stop, some fairly modern motor with...ugh...power stearing, but the car I practiced in between lessons which was going to be my own had things not taken a turn for the financially worse was:

A Nissan Cherry.

1962 Chevrolet Corvair Monza.

When I took Driver's Education in 1966 I only just squeaked past with the bare minimum to pass. What killed me was parallel parking. When I took the test to get my first license I got 100%. I attribute this to the fact that the Torrance, California test lot had big whip antennae to park between so you wouldn't hurt someone else's car. They were far enough apart to put a Cadillac into, so that little Monza had no trouble at all.

Almost fifty years later I still have trouble parallel parking.

1965 Chevy Impala

I do not remember what type of drivers ed cars we had. This was the car my parents had at the time.

P.S. Steve, my dad taught my mom to drive in a 1961 red Corvair Monza.

1965 Ford Galaxy sedan. It was dark red and my two brothers and I all learned how to drive in it and then drove the crap out of it.
