Totally shameless bump.
Ian Johnston has a new book coming out this year, Ships for All Nations: John Brown & Company Clydebank, 1847-1971. It's twice as long as Clydebank Battlecruisers and A Shipyard at War, and unfortunately, twice as expensive. I've loved every book Mr. Johnston has been involved in, but $80 might just be a little too rich for my blood. I already have Seaforth/NIP's upcoming books on British battleships, French destroyers, and their naval atlas of World War I on my wish list. I'm not sure I'm ready to live on Ramen noodles for the month of November! |
