Hi,
we have a Draytek 2200E+ router that connects the LAN to the Internet. All works fine so far, access to the Internet as well as eMail exchange via MS exchange server works. IP address of device is 192.169.11.254, as it is often used. But: When i try to log in to the router configuration screen, it asks for user name and password as usual, but when i enter both (name and pw are ok), it suddenly does not let me enter the starting page anymore, instead it asks me to open or download a file (?): "You want to open following file: type : :404/gate.asp?info-'uname'-'uname (654 Bytes) from: http://192.168.11.254 open with save ..." When i download it (it is just a text file), the contents only shows some router details. What does that mean ![]() ![]() Reset is not an option .. Anyone ? Thanks and greetings, Catfish

Sounds like it is prompting you to change some info (pw? IP?) on the config file, but I'm just guessing. I did some Google searches for Draytek 2200E and following file, but did not come across anything related to that. What did you find out?
