Boy! some one dropped the ball in 1984 on this to go to the trouble to get it up the Hudson, across the Erie canal, the Great Lakes to the Mississippi and Ohio and drop the project. From 1980's "Americas' favorite boat ride"

Kewl Beans, that boat looks very familiar. I wonder if she is the sister ship to Andrew Carnagie's yacht "Dungeness". Dungeness was sold to logging company up in Lake Superior in 1925 and renamed 'Winyah'. My grandfather was captain of the Winyah which brought supplies to Isle Royal back in tha day.

Not sure what happened to the Winyah, I'll have to dig around but I think it just fell by the way or sold for scrap.
