I'm giving TMO a try but the chronometer is too small

How can I make it bigger? I can't see one line from another to take measurements for target speed. I can due the graphic part, but what text parameters do I change?

There are several mods that will replace the chronometer with a larger one.

I cant vouch for any of them though as I haven't tried them. While my eyes aren't what they used to be I make up the difference by using a very large monitor

Thanks, I'll look again, maybe I missed one. All I found was larger HUD and different watches, but not a larger one.

Although a larger monitor isn't a bad idea either!

You should be able to 'undo' the smaller chrono to its default by modifying the "menu_1024_768.ini" file. There are 18 or 19 lines to change.

These are the lines that make the watch smaller. Compare these to a stock .ini file and change them back to default:
