Default IJN yamato

is there any blueprints of the yamato uploaded somewhere or in any book? i'm planning to do a school project about it.

The "Anatomy of the Ship" book on the Yamato by Janusz Skulski is probably your best bet. Unfortunately, the Japanese destroyed pretty much all of the plans and blueprints for the ship at the end of the war, so there's very little about her hull structure and machinery.

The above mentioned book has extensive drawings but they are best guesses based on other ships. Still it's the best reference.
