SH 5 campaign - bugs, solutions - pls help with Narvik

Good afternoon fellow captains...

I'd like to briefly summarize my frustration about bugs in Total Germany carrier mission and I beg you for help with Narvik

Blockade of Germany: carrier mission
I sunk about 4 carriers, none of them counted. Then I found out you need to request this mission at base port, otherwise it won't count..... (but the tonnage part counted without any issues)

Then I returned back to Plymouth (never found carrier in the red circle), and sunk another carrier, it counted. Mission completed. Then I spotted another carrier, sent it to the deeps again..... and another one appeared but I was already short on ammo....

6 carriers down? Wait a second....
Ship sunk! Glorious Fleet Carrier - that's the message I found in my savegame CarreerTrack.upc.... 4x.... Every time I sink this carrier, new one appears in plymouth and leaves the harbor. Just awesome.

Can't complete Narvik (Op Weserübung):
After my experience with Blockade of Germany, I headed to port when I recieved this mission and requested it to have it active. Although I lost 2 weeks in docks...

Then I moved to Narvik territorial waters (marked on map, easy...) sent down 8 british ships from one convoy, none of them counted. Then waited for the norwegian ones after restocking torps.... again no result... (March 21)

Any advice please? I don't want to restart my carreer, because I already invested so much time and effort in it, but I just can't get over this mission.

UPDATE:
Game restart tried.
Load game tried - magically the first ship counted for the mission. Then I saved the game, but next ships didn't count again... After next load, again no result (restarting the game included).

Advice about Narvik still needed please

Hi Rimmon

There is a British task force on the 31st of March or the 2nd of April that contains the BB Queen Elizabeth and a few escorts.

If you press the campaign cross you will see a big blue arrow in the circle towards Narvik.

The task force will be around the end of the arrow on those dates.

I am sorry I cannot be more precise as it is a long time ago since I was there at that those dates.

Another couple of dates that are coming to mind are March 23rd and April 8th.

Ironically I am there now in this Mission again but about 10 days behind.

Thanks for the reply, but this wasn't the issue.

My problem is even kills in the Narvik area (marked on the map) don't count. I have savegame close to one convoy, I tried to sink ships from this or another convoys several times (only counted once and only for one ship - and I need to have 5 of them).

When I load the game again, even the same ship is not counted anymore after I sink it again.

So my issue is not about being able to find the BB, or ships in Narvik area (in fact I already sunk the BB).

I just can't get over this bug
