Default Police pay hackers $500 ransom

It's take a big set of kahunas to extort a police department.

AW jeeze ! NOT PC! As several of our Hawaiian Kaleun members are Kahunas who may or may not have chieftain-like cajones under their grass skirts. Don't feel bad Donna, lots make this vernacular error. http://itre.cis.upenn.edu/~myl/languagelog/archives/003526.html

Default A kahuna with cojones

^Well it all comes down to a little respect here! Oscar winner and consummate actor, Cliff Robertson, played the 'Big Kahuna' (with a straight face!) in FOTNOTE: One of Robertson's main hobbies was flying and, among other aircraft, he owned several de Havilland Tiger Moths, a Messerschmitt Bf 108, and a genuine World War II - era Mk.IX Supermarine Spitfire MK923 His piloting skills helped him get the part as the squadron leader in the British war film 633 Squadron. On 9/11/2001 he was flying a Beechcraft Baron directly over the World Trade Center at 7500 feet when the first jet struck; We gotta respect a guy like that!

"The Big Kahuna" was also the nickname of Frankie Avalon's character in the "Beach Party" movies. In Back To The Beach they had some fun with that, including Barbara Billingsly at one point introducing him as "The Big Crapola".

wolf_howl15 Donna,

I think the word you were looking for is cajones.

Pay no mind to Moon Doggie up there.

As for the fuzz and their PCs,

How secure do you feel when your police can't even secure their own network?

BTW, the cops didn't pay to recover their drives... The citizens did.

Well I had to wait; but I knew you'd check in on a 'kahuna with cajones" thread!

Bah, you're all wrong: the correct word is "cojones", not "cajones". The word "cajones" literally translates to "drawers" as in 'desk' or 'chest of'; if you're going to use slang, use it correctly...

[Good lord, am I channeling Sailor Steve, now?...]...

YES!
Yes you are.
Now stop that this instant. Gettin' too big for your cajones?

Sheesh! I'm the English spelling Nazi. Don't expect me to know spelling for other languages.

Have some jalopynose.

Sailor Steve will be in touch for using a Spanish profanity. Maybe the reason why Donna said kahunas.

Jalapenos? Not good for my pancreatitis. I would in turn offer you some guacamole, but the main ingredient might run afoul of the Spanish profanity stricture:

How about some nice jam butties?...
