After years of playing SH2-3-4 on a mediocre laptop, I have finally been blessed with a high end machine that will run everything at super speed hi-res. I'll now be able to give SH5 a look see!!
Not wanting to restart my current mission, is there a How-To posted here that details how to move from one computer to another without losing all the current mission settings? I have SH3 with GW 3 Gold installed on the old laptop. I really-really do not want to start all over. Thanks, Gordon |

Copy-paste always worked for me.
Or you can compress your game for later use. But if you have a steam version (not my case) I'm afraid things won't be so straightforward. There are a lot of people out here that can give you better advice. I just told about my own experience. |

Perhaps I read too fast and you are talking only about the game saves, but it should be just a copy-paste thing.
As for SH5 running on a top-notch rig, I didn't have a really good experience in terms of smooth gameplay, even when I bought my current PC two years ago. I7 3770K, ATI Radeon 7870 2GB DDR5, 8GB RAM. Res 1152x864. That SH5 always reminds me of Flight Simulator X and viceversa. |
