I use GUIGWXClassic1360x768 and it works great (if you're using that res).

I'm having a blast with Widescreen MaGui!

I'm using one of the widescreen 1920x1080 mods. Just wish there was a way to get it 2560x1440 D:

Thre weeks ago I bought a new monitor and I must say that I bought it 1280x960. I can play the game with very good frame rate and no need for widescreen solutions.
Sorry if I may sound a bit cheeky, but I just bought the monitor thinking of this game and I don't regret it.

I don't find that cheeky. I think most of us subnuts here either have computers that have been bought with SH3 in mind, or are planning on buying one that will make playing the game even more fun.

SH3 turns 10 next week! (Released March 15, 2005.)

I am in the process of choosing my next computer. And yes, one of my most important criteria is how well it will handle my fully modded and tricked out SH3!

How many ten year old games have this kind of a following?

Viva SH3!

I was going to start my new career today, but a chance to begin fresh on the 10th anniversary?

Now I have to think some more. That hurts.

Steve , I would go ahead and start today. If you are like me, in seven days there will be some other new mod release that I really have to try, so I'll be restarting then anyway!

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. What if I wait and start on the anniversary, and then I like Jeff's new VIIa model so much I have to start over anyway? What if I wait a week and the two days later the game crashes and I have to spend several days finding out why? What if I put it off for a week and then I have a heart attack and die while playing at the blues jam tomorrow night? What if...

I will have to use a wide screen mod too. I want to reinstall again after several years in land, and now i have a 24" lcd monitor.

Why choosing GWX over LSH ? I'm still hesitating between these two .
