Default Go Home Bernard, You're Drunk

Well, as some may know, my most recent career ended as I tried to circle the world. As such, I started a 1939 again, with the (7th?) Flotilla out of Kiel in the U-46 (rather appropriate, eh?).

While I have GWX, I still do not have SH3 Commander. Therefore, my navigator so happened to be the wonderful Bernard. Anyhow, pre-war patrol, hit the KIEL CANAL OUT course and went to fix me a sandwich.

I returned just in time to see my shiny new submarine run right into the Hochdon High Bridge at ahead standard, utterly wrecking the bow of the U-46 and sinking her in about 5 seconds.

Wonder how Ræder will react.

As much as I dislike it sometimes, I'm a tin can sailor, through and through.

That the captain was off the bridge, in the galley, getting a sandwich? Yeah, he'd say "that's what stewards are for"...

That button and his twin, KIEL CANAL IN, are really a blessing but before any Kaleun could proficiently use them he had to attend a supplemental Unterseebootschule class and pass the relative exam!
