Hey guys,
I bought myself a new notebook for Christmas. Since it's meant for work primarily, it only has an Intel HD graphics card and uses Win 8.1 So far, SH3 could be installed properly, and the game seems to run fine. The only strange thing, however, is that the water just looks odd: I'm not sure if it's really visible from the screenshot and becomes really visible when moving the camera around, but basically, all the reflection / refraction of the water is somehow crammed into the upper left corner. Is there any way to fix this? |

try and locate the post. Edit: Saw this thread, seems to be related to the on-board graphics card:Here See post #5. Once potential fix may be using s3d and disabling water reflections. There is a lot to be edited though as each in game object has a reflection & refraction value that needs to be set to 0. Dat files. Another thread on this:Here Last edited by ReallyDedPoet; 01-15-15 at 09:32 PM. |

The only solution was to find out how to switch from that to the Nvidia graphics card that came with the computer. If onboard graphics is all you have you may be stuck with that problem.

Thanks a lot so far, guys! That went really quick!
![]() Since my onboard graphics card is all I have, I might well be stuck with the problem. Somewhere around the net, I've read about using S3D to edit texture properties, but I have never used S3D before and I don't know which values to edit. Since it's becoming less likely that there will be a quick and easy fix for my problem, I might look into that a little more. |

![]() As mentioned I did this with Sub Reflections, so anything on the sub that could reflect, I disabled. |
