Can't patch to v 1.2

I have installed SH5 Gold Ed. (digital download); after all the auto-updates perfomed by UPlay, I have currently a 1.0.5.0 version of the SH5.exe file.

I downloaded the 1.2 official patch but when I try to run the patcher I get the message "This update cannot be installed with the current version of the game".

Is that a known issue? As I understand that V1.2 is needed for most mods to work, is there a workaround that someone could suggest?

You need to use an updating tool located here - C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\Support\GameUpdater . Downloaded patches won`t work.
