The Flying Dutchman??

I am trying to recall, whether it was Silent Hunter 2 3 4 or another ship game.

That while sailing, I come across a Ghost ship, of age of sail design.

I could sight it, I could track it, I could sail just about right up to it.

I even fired at the dam thing. Not that, that did anything.

So, can someone fill me in, about this ghost ship.

There have been reports of this in SH4. Never seen it myself. Not sure if SH3 has it. If so, than probably as an easteregg with a (super)mod only.

Silent Hunter IV has the Flying Dutchman, Silent Hunter III + GWX has the USS Cyclops.

I think she runs a pattern in the waters between Formosa and Luzon in the South China Sea never seen her anywhere else.
