Hello everybody.
I would like to add light in sub pens. For now, there is only white halos, but without any light. I've tried to add light nodes in the nodes called "HaloDK" (in data/Library/Harbor_kit.dat : Node - Sub_pen_right), but without any effect (with ambient, direct or omni type of light). I've also tried to change the direction of the light node, but no more successfully. I would also like it illuminates not only objects but also the sea surface, as with searchlights. Is there anyone there who would be able to help me ? |

Is there anyone who knows how to disable the sun light underwater ? I've tried a controller like "Visible underwater" setted to false in the light node in scene.dat, but without effect...

Hey Fahnenbohn!
If I remember correct, there is a special second interior texture which is necessary for the light. Some years have passed since I made a new subpen for SH3. With the halo you online can add lamps that have a glow. |

@ HanSolo78
Are you saying that it is possible to add a light effect ? I already tried for adding light to fire and to halos in sub pen, but without any success. I have only a result with a light node and omni light, but the harbor's houses are enlightened whereas the sub pens are not at all : strange ! ![]() |

@RDP
Thx! @Fahnenbohn The most easy way to add halo or light to an existing object, is to get an object which has an existing halo/light. Delete all unimportant nodes. Then save the object. Now import the object into the object you wish the halo/light for. Rename the neccessary nodes.. reorganize the number of the nods and place the halo object via 3d viewer and coordinates to the place u wish for. All should be done in Silent3D Editor. Sound complicated but is very easy once you did it. regards Han |
