Voice Commands

I recently modded SH5 and installed the improved UI by TheDarkWraith. It worked perfectly but then I decided to Try voice commands. It didn't work. When I ran the voice application test engine, I got this error:

Speech engine could not be started. The remote server returned an error: (500) internal server.

Does anyone know what that means?

Default Right

Is the voice command mod that comes with TDW's Improved UI overhaul any good or should I download a separate one?

Regards, Oskar

The SH5 version by MiTon works fine. I have used it without any trouble, although getting it started the first time was not intuitive. Sorry, it's been a while and I don't recall the details, but perseverance furthers. Anyway, it does work and is definitely worth using. I used it exclusively when playing SH5.

Since the commands are internal, it is possible to give direct heading orders ("Come to 310 degrees."), which can't be done in SHSpeech. But it is (IMO) much more work to script new orders or change the phrasing of an order, again compared to SHSpeech.
