Mystery pole.....what is this???

When I dive, regardless of depth, I have a pole that comes up from the Conning tower. I thought I had a periscope up but that was incorrect. Anyone have an idea what this pole is and/or what its purpose is for the uboat?

And here I went ahead and sent up both of my periscopes. So whatever this 3rd pole is, it's not a periscope. I was thinking it's a radio pole/tower or something. Anyone have any idea???

Odd.
In the first pic, it looks like the Observation periscope.
In the second it looks like both periscopes and possibly a snorkel (given that your boat has a late war flak arrangement)
What am I missing?

It could be a snorkel depending on where you at in the war.

It is a radio antenna.

As said above, it's a radio antenna, it's normally supposed to poke out of the water slightly when at periscope depth, but a mod I cannot remember stops it poking out at that depth, probably to stop you getting spotted or something.

Aah....TY very much. I even tried to research it on my own (i.e. I did a google search for "anatomy of U-boat) and came up with a bunch of nothing. Radio tower does make perfect sense. I just wasn't as confident.
