Hi avers

RFB has not been updated from v2.50 over the years and is not likely to be.

I would seriously suggest that you have a look at TMOwTw 2.50 as this is on a similar difficulty level to RFB.

Personally I think the TMO mod is far better than RFB and has a lot more going for it.

It is the Cinderella to TMO v2.5 which is the bigger mod with the heavier AI and more widely used.

TMOwTw 2.50 seems to have got lost in the background which is a shame and so few seem to know about it.

In theory you could just play with just this 1 mod as it is a complete package in itself.

Of course you would not because you want other enhancements to enjoy your game more.

Everyone seems to add RSRDC to everything and again personally I think this can be a shame as it supresses so much of TMOwtw 2.50 capability.

I have played with TMOwTw 2.50 and RSRDC and am currently testing without it and to date I am not disappointed by not having RSRDC.

Do you not find having to keep moving the crew irritating?

I have never played the full TMO v2.5 only the lighter TMOwTw 2.50

This is what I'd recommend:
RFB_2.0 ....................................(Real Fleet Boat)
RFB_2.0_Patch_23April2010
RSRDC_RFB_V575 ............(Run Silent Run Deep Campaign)
RSRDC_V5xx_Patch1
Improved Ship Physics 1.1

I don't know why you say a convoy under attack is weird if they scatter. This is something that was known to happen from time to time.

In any case, RFB convoys are not going to be fundamentally different that convoys in any other mod. AI behavior is hard coded *unfortunately*. The same goes for escort behavior, aircraft behavior, etc., etc.

A convoy made up of various different vessels was only as fast as its slowest.

When under torpedo attack it was quite usual for the convoy to scatter as it was everyman for themselves and would give some a better chance of survival as they could now use any speed advantage that they had to get away.

The museum has always been buggy. Most people just stay out of it.
