In the 'Das Boot' movie, one guy drinks evaporated milk with lemon juice. Has anyone here ever tried it, and if so, how do you mix it?

Don't feel too bad for Fulham. We'll be back up. We dropped the first match to Ipswich, but we should beat Millwall at the Cottage.

As for the drink; I think it sounds good.

1/2 cup NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
1/2 cup cold water
1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice

Directions:

If you do not have buttermilk on hand, you can substitute sour milk made with CARNATION Evaporated Milk (Regular, Lowfat or Fat Free).

MEASURE evaporated milk into glass measuring cup. Add water and vinegar; stir. Let stand for 5 minutes before using it in a recipe. Goes good with a Hamm's chaser!

Being German, you probably wouldn't consider Hamm's to be beer. But over here, we like the stuff. Actually, Hamm's beer is meh (IMO). It's Hamm's bear that I like.
