So. I downloaded the files and made my Submarine Attack Course Finder. My first attempt was ok, but not perfect. I had problems rescaling the reverse side, and the holes I made for the spindle aren't perfectly aligned. The thing works though. The less than perfect alignment doesn't introduce huge errors and the difference in size between front and back isn't great, and in any case is purely cosmetic, but being as how I had stuff left over from building mark 1, I made the mark 2.

I absolutely hate to throw stuff away, so if there's anyone on this forum who lives within reach of Preston or is willing to send me a stamped and addressed jiffy bag, then the first attempt is up for grabs. long shot I know, but I really don't want to give it the hero's reward [unceremoniously tossed in the bin]. So if you've thought about making one of these, but couldn't be bothered, there's one in my flat going begging.

*edit* And now its off to a new home in the sunny state of Texas - Here's hoping it serves its new owner well....
