Weird Coloured Ships

I've been using the Op Monsun Mod & I've came across odd ships in the convoys, they're usually bright green or white but it's only 1 or 2 in every convoy.
Is this a usual thing for the mod or is it something that happens in the vanilla game as well?

In the absence of a screen shot to actually see them, I would guess it's a video card issue.

Only time I've seen this as a problem is when video cards are overheating or going bad....May want to clean those fans and test that card. Not gonna find them, but I posted several pics myself in SS thread, green ships, men looked covered in oil, wake bubbles were of compass textures..
