SH3 GWX question?

Hey guys, new member here,had a question.

i installed GWX recently and i noticed when im submerged the little yellow arrow is not there anymore that tells me where im headed,i know i know, but i like it to have it, is there any way i can tweak a file to get it back or i just have to do without? also my submarine icon is also gone when i zoom all the way in on the map screen, anyway to get that one back also?

hope i put these questions in the right area of the forum, if not i apologize,thank you much for any help!!
