Default Petropavlosk - Novice questions

Hello all,

I am fairly novice to this game still in terms of the missions/campaign, as I have been mainly playing quick missions or the MH60 & Kilo tutorial missions.

I decided I would give the campaign a go and have chosen the 688i for the first mission. As stupid as it sounds, I haven't been able to complete the mission yet as I do not understand the objectives.

The only objective I managed to complete was the detection of the Rebel SSNs but I have no idea how I managed : I was simply classifying the sub-surface contacts as Russian, but I had no idea they were "rebel" or not.

Any idea what the "Classify Rebel Patrol Craft" objective entitles? I took pictures of all the ships in sight, and thanks to the PC3 acting as recon, I had all surface contacts on my map, but the objective wasn't complete.

Finally, what is the "Counterdetected" objective and how do you complete it - I find the wording slightly confusing? Are you meant to get detected as part of your objectives or do you complete it for detecting every sub in the mission (I think the only one I didn't manage to detect was the Akula) ?

Thanks in advance for your replies,
